Another protest against the leadership of the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) took place in Sofia. Dissatisfied citizens and representatives of the insurance sector once again took to the streets, calling for resignations, investigations and criminal accountability for the regulator’s actions.<\/p>\n\n

During the demonstration, protest materials containing strong criticism of the FSC’s management and its decisions concerning the insurance market were distributed. Participants in the protest claimed that the institution’s actions were creating tensions within the sector and putting both the operations of insurance companies and the interests of their customers at risk.<\/p>\n\n

The protesters called on the state institutions and the National Assembly to intervene by seeking changes in the leadership of the regulator and carrying out a comprehensive review of the disputed decisions and administrative actions.<\/p>\n\n
